The Journey Begins

Welcome to my blog! I am so thrilled to have you here!

Let’s start this off on the right foot, shall we?

I’m Ashlee and I am the proud Momma to my son Landon. I work in the veterinary field as both a Vet Assistant at a local vet hospital and as a Field Operations Manager for a nationwide veterinary company. I love helping others (people and animals alike), spending time with my family, going on adventures (being a mom to a toddler is ALWAYS an adventure), and taking a relaxing trail ride with my friends.

I come from a HUGE family that always seems to be expanding! I am the youngest of 4 kids (a 7-year age gap between myself and the 3rd child). I have 14 (yes, 14!!) nieces and nephews, 1 great niece (who is also my God Daughter) with another on the way and 2 God Children. Did I mention I come from a huge family?
Even still, I have always had a very close relationship with my family. Being the daughter of a Marine (the baby at that), we knew which rules we HAD to follow and which ones we could bend when it came to Dad. Mom was always the soft hearted one who was the voice of reason for all of us!

I also have a dog (Coach) who tends to forget he is NOT a lap dog at 110lbs and a horse (Tennessee Walker X Quarter) that my Mom named Alora, which translated means, “My Dream”.
I rescue lots of animals, get them back to good health and find them forever homes! I give each one of them a unique name that reflects something about them and that name stays with them forever! One day, I will have my own rescue that helps not only homeless animals, but also homeless people who need a second chance at a new beginning!

My life is stressful, crazy and at times downright chaos, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! I am blessed beyond measure and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
